M. Carter has been a professional guide and teacher on the Big Island for over 10 years.

He has guided for companies such as Hawaii Forest and Trail, Atlantis Submarines, Taikobo Hawaii, Pacific Rim Tours and has been a favorite on-call private guide for large VIP groups
touring the Big Island.

Whether 100 feet below the surface of the ocean or standing on top of Mauna Kea (13,796 ft.),
his passion and love for the "aina" (the land, earth), in all of it's myriad presentations,
touches those who hear it, in ways that books alone cannot.
